Re: The Video Game thread
There's another minecraft update? I told myself I'd start playing again after 1.8 but never got round to it. More stuff could be a good reason...
EDIT: Huh? The wiki says that that stuff hasn't been implemented yet?

Bayonetta officially has the greatest cutscenes in the history of gaming. hands down. also, mass effect 2 is pretty sweet

I'm waiting untill a good offocial release fo Minecraft before I start playing again, so that I don't have to regenerate the world each time. I'll have a private server going too!

Been playing Driver: San Francisco lately, and it's an absolute blast. The whole "switch cars/bodies" thing is really amusing, and just hopping car to car until you find something expensive to smash head on into another car appeals to me.

I'm still traumatized from the training mission in the first Driver. Holy crap. Maybe I just sucked at video games back then but I NEVER beat it.
Now, stealing cars in Driver 2...that was hours of fun. Pre-Grand Theft Auto Grand Theft Auto.
There was also this PSX game where you were a cop...its most entertaining feature was firing at random cars from your window. So good.
And then GTA3 hit and got me hooked.

See, this is GTA without the whole "running around stealing cars" bit. You just pop from car to car.

Re: The Video Game thread
Bastion is a good time. Every game should have sexy narration.
RAGE... Makes me physically angry. After having to run a bunch of config tweaks, and update my drivers (took three releases in 48hours but ATI eventually put out one that worked), finally got the game running smoothly, then id software put out a patch and I had to change all my settings again, and it's running worse than before (due to how the game is fucking designed to stream textures, not because my beast of a PC can't handle it....argh) I think I'm gonna start up a new game of the Witcher II and get back to this game in a few weeks or something.

I don't think I ever beat it either. I always just drove around the city because I couldn't make it through that jank.

Hey! Let's talk about serious thing. We're gonna talk about guitar, dude.
