BUT! Good news is, I can post a new amp in this thread! I'll have either an Engl Blackmore or Orange Rockerverb 100 MK1 within the next couple weeks!

Let the guys over at the doom room in HCEF know about the sunn.

I saw this picture of Hendrix, all he used was a wah.... And not even the Jim Dunlop Jimi Hedrix wah, just some old thing.....
Jimi didn't realise the horrible tone suck we had to listen to every time he used that wah.

Loved the classic 30 absolutely no use for 30 watts, swapped it for a valve Junior and some pedals.

Try some of the tube tamers, the rattle will go away pretty quickly.
I did some recording with mine and it was never a problem even before I put dampers in.

a bad picture of the tower of power. Hughes & Kettner Quantum 600w with two 410's and a send from the amps post EQ DI to the mixing/recording concole.

...and at home, dads little helper at mischief, helping with volume blance   I know it is a biggish DI/preamp  for home recording but I love it.

Digitech TSR 12 Multi FX on it has some good sounds, though it's not all that awesome. The Fender Rumble 15w is my darling wifeys practice amp. It's enough for giving a bass lesson through it if somebody felt like one. The 600watts in a row house is a tad too much.
