sorry...today wasn't great. i was just waking up when the phone rang and it was the public defender saying "you're supposed to be in court!" i'm all "oh, fuck, you're right...can you stall them?" jump in truck, scream down to Santa Cruz in 15 minutes, and get everything sorted. nothing earth-shattering, just tickets that had gotten out of control and wound up with a suspended license, but still not the thing you want to start the day with.

^ I woke up yesterday with ten minutes to get to work.

Dropped out of another band after a few practices. Just not quite clicking. This new one seems promising though. I'll definitely have more control, which is both terrifying and what I want at the same time.
