Taking advantage of two amps
So I recently got a Carvin 50/100w head on a 4x12 in addition to my vox AC15 with a 2x12 extention and I can't figure out what exactly to do with this set-up. Mostly, I've been playing with my Ibanez DE7's stereo outputs on a really tight almost unnoticeable slap-back delay, but since the delay signal is going through a different (usually cleaner, maybe modulated) and the other through all my dirt and EQ's into the half stack.
SO, what I'm wondering is: What are some cool stereo pedals that someone would want to use enough to drag around two amps and two cabs? Preferably on the cheap end. and also a little more creative than an ABY switch.

Re: Taking advantage of two amps
The first thing I'd do is have one side clean, and the other fuzzed.
Stereo delay with one output clean and the other into fuzz? Yes please.

Re: Taking advantage of two amps
I'd go with a Radial Switchbone rather than a standard ABY switch
Cool stereo effects? The old Boss Panning delay is cool -- the delay pingpongs from one amp to the other
If you like modulation -- try a DC-2, those things are great in stereo.
Do you use amp dirt ? (with anAC15, you should
) -- I hate delay before dirt, so one other thing you could do is put the delay after the amp -- Suhr makes an ISO line out with a level knob so you can then run a wet/dry rig with the preamp dirt going into the delay and that going into a power amp and speakers.

Re: Taking advantage of two amps
I used to use a cheap DOD stereo chorus with the L-R signals going to different amps. I liked the sound of that.
Now I just use radically different sounds out of the two amps. You don't really need a stereo effect when your amp sounds are contrasting (and /or complementing) each other. Current favorite is: Guitar to tuner, tuner has a/b output.
A> Creepy Fingers Tonebender--->Jerms Brassy--->Traynor Bass Master--->Randall 4x12
B> Seppuku Octave Drone (switch to Treble)--->Fuzzrite Clone--->EQD Monarch--->Traynor Guitar Mate (solid state)-->2-Eminence 1x12"s.
The 'bender and Brassy are always on with the 'A' stack. Mega doomsludge ultra fuzz. Then the B stack is crazy slicing chainsaw fuzz with the Octave Drone, or super raw chewy fuzzdrive with the Fuzzrite and Monarch both on.
I use different combinations for standard tuning guitar, usually just one pedal each to two different amps. I need more cables and a dunlop power brick to hook up three or four amps + that many pedals properly.

Re: Taking advantage of two amps
My looper almost always runs into the clean amp, I have different delays on each, and overall I basically have a clean blend on anything I want a clean blend on.
If I was still playing live, I"d be up to four amps probably, one for guitar (dirt), one for guitar (clean), and a stereo amp or two amps for the guitar synth.

Yeah, I was thinking about something like this. Any specific recommendations? I have a flanger(mono) that I'm really happy with(just not sure what signal chain to put it on) so I think I'm leaning towards some kind of stereo chorus.
Right now I have the amps set up totally different sounds. AC15 is trebly and reverb/tremolo'd. Carvin is where are my dirt/mid-boost/muff/other stuff goes.
Once I actually start playing this live, I'll need to push the Vox to that nice, juicy point where it's just starting to break-up. The Carvin is just fucking loud and beastly.

This is my favorite:

But there are a ton of others out there. ..The Boss BF-3 is one, the EHX Stereo Electric Mistress is another...
I'm sure there's a bunch of boutique ones too, but I'm pretty pedestrian in my modulation tastes.

If you get a 3FX Sidewinder anything can be a cool stereo effect.

Pigtronix Tremvelope is fun, if you want something dynamic.
