The MXL V67 was really affordable, and sounds really solid. Paid about half teh price as one of my bandmates did for his condenser and general consensus is we really like the sound of this one more.

Also picked up a Turner 22x for a steal. Sound wonderful and dark!

Nice find! I like the v67 they work great as distance percussion mics and sometimes on vocals / guitar but not an always go to mice for those, im interested in hearing what that turner sounds like, i'm looking for a similar style mic for a recording project i have coming up, i was looking at old astatic harp mics and im looking for a newer one for my live vox.
