The customer said he bought it like this back in the 1970's.

Yes it is a B-15S. But instead of having a speaker cabinet has this odd cover and rubber feet on the top of the lid.

Yup a B15-S head, there are a few floating around.

Odd when the B25 was essentially the same amp.
But normal out on the B15 is 8 ohms with the ext speaker being in series for 16.
While the B25 is 16 ohms with the extension speaker running parallel for 8 ohms.

A very nice sounding amp, not Motown, it’s all rock but fantastic.

The B15S is 60 Watts with a 2/4/8 Ohm Switch. The B15N is 40 Watts. The day before I worked on that B15S I had a 1973 SVT and a post 1970 B15N to work on. I'll have to post some more Ampeg pics on Monday.
