Jimi didn't realise the horrible tone suck we had to listen to every time he used that wah.

Sounds like a twin reverb but darker basically. Great amp.

Hell yeah. Love that hog 30. Sounds really nice for recording and getting a bass to cut through. Use your big rig and that and it's golden.

Yeah it's a 2x15. Not original speaker though. They were gone when I got the cab. The speakers are early 90's Eminence 350 watt PA type (delta 15?) speakers. They sound great with this setup.

It really is a great amp. I agree. Twin Reverb only voiced darker, more bass prominent. At least this one seems to be. Punchy as hell. That might be the speakers.

From another thread:

Three guitars by maxwellm, on Flickr

Music Man 112, 65w. Deep channel on. Bright channel never on. I don't get much opportunity to really exercise it.

That Plush is on the mind-blowing side of things. I've seen 'em in stores and all I can do is stare.

Would love to get my hands on an AC-30 some time but would need to move out of this neighborhood to use it anywhere approaching its full potential.

Here's the first amp I ever bought: Fender Deluxe Reverb blackface reissue. Couldn't tell you the year. I haven't had it since '96 when it was stolen.

A kind offer, but I barely have room to store the instruments and amp I have currently. Another is out of the question for some time.
