Resistance 3 is fun. it's nothing new in a shooter, but it's some of the more interesting guns out there. it's very much like an adult version of Ratchet and Clank jammed into a shooter.

dig it.

That sounds very interesting to me. R&C is one of my favorite franchises.

i LOVE R&C. Resistance has always been a game i liked. it's got the weird shit of a sci-fi shooter like Halo but it's not a piece of shit like Halo.

Caved in and bought Dead Island this morning. Not buying Space Marine, Deus Ex, or Hard Reset until after I pay off the rest of my credit card debt though.

I was really stoked for that game, but it just seems like Left 4 Dead all over again, which I wasn't a fan of.

I hate first person games though, so I guess I'm biased.

How so? First-person zombies with coop?
Gameplay seems more like Oblivion than L4D.

The special zombies share some similarities/seem to be inspired by Left 4 Dead's. The actual gameplay is like a mix of Dead Rising, Bethesda RPGs and Dark Messiah. Which is an underrated, really fun game.

Protip: Don't pick the Throwing Weapon Asshole or the Strong Proud Black Female, because you WILL eventually lose your good weapons when they despawn after throwing them, and guns are so useless in that game.

I don't think weapon type makes a bit of difference. I have a pistol and shotgun, both with similar damage stats, but even so I'd expect the shotgun to fuck zombies up in close range. Nope, you still have to blast them point blank four times, just like the pistol. Also, headshots only count if you're fighting humans. Zombies don't give a shit if you shoot them in the brains.

Crimsonland is one of my favorite games. I thought there was gonna be a sequel, but...looks like no dice. I wish there was multiplayer. Co-op games are the best kind. I was feeling nostalgic for Perfect Dark multiplayer against bots today...

I got into Dead Island after creeping on a bunch of twich.tv streams (my main source of leisure I LOVE LIVE STREAMING) had that for a few days. A short shelf life but fun! really buggy though which is what I was taken a bit back buy.

I only have two games at the moment Fallout New Vegas and I bought my favorite street fighter. 3rd strike online.
