when i get my blue voodoo head i wanna stick a crap load of LEDs into it
now what id really like is to be able to flick a switch and have them go from 'off' into flashing on and off at like 2millisecond intervals or so, so is this possible?
ive no idea how to go about this but....

not that practical, but possible.
Easiest is to just drape it with Christmas tree lights.
I know that is different.
I remember some one used to make a beginners electronics kit that just randomly flashed leds. used to see them at my electronics store along with an opamp audio amp and a couple of other circuits.
Might take a little searching around the web but I think you could find at least a schematic.
Finding a place to mount the board, and provide power would be the big challenge.
