Red Fang FALL TOUR!

Post by Holy Schnikes »

Oh, yeah, Mastodon will be headlining but their new singles are really disappointing me. :(

Anyway, first time I'll see Red Fang and after having Murder The Mountains on constant rotation the last few months, I'm excited! Plus, I won't have to travel 5 hours to Chicago to catch this one...

EDIT: looks like I'll be going to Chicago after all to pick up my Emperor shit the same weekend. Roadtrip!

Mastodon and Red Fang tour dates.

10/25 Austin, TX – La Zona Rosa

If this was just Red Fang at Mohawk in Buffalo I totally would be there, but Mastadon will make ticket prices go up :grumpy:
It will still probably be a reasonable cost, so who knows.

$33 for Denver. Ouch. Its with Mastodon and Dillinger Escape Plan, but that's kinda expensive. DEP I've seen, they're well worth it, but Mastodon I'm not sure. I'm betting it'll be a great time, but I think the GWAR and Every Time I Die show is going to be the better one this fall.

I saw Mastodon like, eight years ago, and they were ripping.

I might make the trek, but I have no interest in seeing anything from Crack the Skye.

What I've heard of the new album sure sounds more like good-ol' Leviathan-era Mastodon. I'd be interested to see what they bring out live.

Hopefully.

The set when I saw them went something like this:
March of the Fire Ants
Iron Tusk
Blood and Thunder
Where Strides the Behemoth
Seabeast
Aqua Dementia
Hearts Alive
Workhorse

I mean. Damn.

Good God I would have killed for that set. Crack the Skye I kinda like, but it doesn't match up to the caliber of the old thrashers.

Played with Red Fang when they rolled through Spookaloo in May (or was it March, fuck I forget). They crashed on our rehearsal room floor (drummer's basement/room).

These guys are all kickass dudes and put on a hell of a show. Too bad they aren't making it to Spokane again. :(

Mastodon? Whateves.

Not huge on Mastodon, Dillinger is alright, but I fucking love Red Fang. Can I start up a kickstarter for people to pay for my concert tix?

Not a single date near me...unless you consider the 4+ hour drive to philly

Just heard the new Red Fang jam on the radio tonight, totally stoked brah.
I'd also consider paying full admission to a mastodon concert just to hear/see march of the fire ants live on various pharmaceuticals.
