Mainly clean amp for me (old tube Fenders or solid-state Roland Jazz Chorus).

But it really depends on the fuzz.
For instance, I do love my Algal Bloom with a (tube) amp on the edge of breakup (it's great with a slightly-pushed Fender Blues Jr.).

My amp doesn't really have a clean channel..... you can get clean tones on a Marshall but why? Lately I've been just using a compressor and an overdrive, shit sounds great. I'm shopping for a better OD (I have an old MXR Dist+ that's okay but not awesome) and maybe a boost pedal too......
