the ILFJ Like many people, I was psyched about this pedal. I've owned a LFLJ for a while. It doesn't get much use, but I can't force myself to sell it because of "that" sound. The compression, the soft hiss, etc. That said, there isn't much to say about the ILFJ. It sounds just like the LFLJ. The namm demo videos cover all the new features. Personally have no use for it
the vexter wah probe I was about to buy a used, handpainted probe. But then I tried one out and quickly decided against it. It was cool for filtery sweeps, the end. Then the vexter version came out. The controls let you dial in a shorter wah range and determine which frequency it peaks and bottoms out at. That+the lower price make this pedal a 'no brainer' for lovers of the wah probe. Unfortunately, I feel the same way about it as its more expensive counterpart. I felt myself using it for the same application. I'd be more interested if the theremin control felt more natural. Maybe I should practice with it more or maybe I just don't like wahs...
Interesting...didn't know the Vexter Wah was out already...are the Fuzz and Trem Vexter Probes out too?
I heard Muse has fuzz factory's installed in their fingers.
lulz. hard to tell..... if you're a fan.... with the screen name and all.....
i think they're talented, i think they've made inteteresting music (more in the past then recently), i think they're fucking BORING live, their silly political stuff has the feeling of listening to a 15 year old with a Che Guevera t-shirt on..... but they're good. i like the Swtching Instruments thing they do when they have to play to pre-recorded stuff on tv shows and how they let the drummer pretend he's the singer so he actually gets asked questions.....
but it is RIDICULOUS over on TB. Chris Wolfenstein (LOVED that game) is decent and has spent a lot of money on gear.... but there's people over there that are all OMGAVOCADOSALAD THEY'RE AWESOME I NEED THEIR BABIES INSIDE ME and have copied his rig to .... play at home. or do an inispid So Inspired By Them They're Ripping Them Off bands.
just leaves a reflexive criginess when you hear about them.
i'm a SENSITIVE little grrL.

I love their first 3 albums, the fourth is good, and the latest one... It has its moments? But I probably wouldn't have listened to it as much if it wasn't a band I've loved for years. What I think is kinda weird is how Matt Bellamy is so associated with the fuzz factory that people say you should get one to sound like him. But most of his distorted sound is just a high-ish gain amp (or at least sounds like it...) He does use them for oscillation I guess, but lots of stuff does that.

The latest one is one of the worst pieces of "poo-biscuit" I've ever heard. It's like glam queen. And not in a cool way.
Same here. Funilly enough a mate of mine that plays in a band with me did sound with them for a tour. Turns out Bellamy had a rack of jacksons that he swaped his Manson for to smash at the end of sets. My mate had his uncle nick one and bring one back from the tour. Also Mat Bellamy is an awful twat.
