well, I don't have it anymore.

I never really got along with it, didn't like the sound from the start. In the right application it would be cool but it wasn't at all what I was looking for at the time. Nothing against the builder or the pedal itself, it was just something I should have looked into more before I bought it.

Soundwise it was similar to a disaster fuzz or ultralord without the oscillation, def a synthy, pinched sounding fuzz. I did record something with it, if you go here - http://lintybits.rpmchallenge.com/ and listen to the tune 207 on the first album (Ridden) it's on the guitar and oscillator.

I listened to the song and was not sure what sounds were being made by the Pulse Synth. I liked the music.

I was hoping for way more synth than fuzz but I will probably be disappointed if I think about it that way, right? Have you ever compared it to something like the Pigtronix Mothership?

been a while I sort of forget myself. I think I used it on the guitar and the half of the oscillator tracks. It was more of a fuzz that had synth qualities, I remember liking the clips on his site but not being able to get the same sounds with the pedal. I sold it to someone on here but can't find the pm

I've never tried a mothership but from videos that would do a whole hell of a lot more

I am figuring so but I really liked the first audio clip he has up on his site....that is a great clip as far as what I would like a pedal to do. I keep hearing such mixed reviews on the Mothership....though it tends to go fairly cheap used. The Snazzy Mini Ark is also on the radar for me. I've got enough fuzz....I need something that can get me towards more of a mini-moog kind of sound.

It def is more square wave fuzz at some settings but from what I remember that 1st clip is pretty accurate, it was the other 2 that sold me and I could never figure out how to dial in.

Tried out a Lo-Tech-No-Fi-Bot today, excellent pedal. Lots of crazed gated distortion, weird oscillation, tremolo-like effects, 1970s robot sounds. Very cool :thumb:

Any one else had one? Gunner Recall, do you try out the Photron ever?
ILF pedals: DE Eye of God, Mellowtone Wolf Computer, Mellowtone Singing Tree LE, Fuzzhugger Arc Flash Oscillator, DSc Miniberator, Mysterious J boost/cut/tremolo pedal

I was actually thinking of buying an oscillating Fuzz from him and running it first in my violin chain, for noise possibilities. He looks like he has some very nice stuff, and reasonably priced also.

Read a great review on the one I was looking at on Eric's Gear Page. I totally have love for Eric's Gear Page.

I've had a photron for a while now, really balls deep filter.
You really need to understand filters to get it to work, not for the faint of heart. Non-tweakers need not apply
