Elements on bass
Hey Ryan(and anyone else who knows), how is the Elements on bass? My birthday is coming up in January, and I want to know how the Elements will treat my bass.

Re: Elements on bass?
Rocks man! It's just as good with bass as guitar. The low/high gain switch is really useful, as is the eq & mix knob; especially if you're like me and play multiple instruments. Gets clean enough to drive your amp naturally, without adding anything...but there's tons of gain on tap to add in when you want it. Really a versatile monster of a box. Literally an unlimited amount of sounds and control.

Re: Elements on bass?
I never tried it with bass, but Guitar > Octron (octave down) > The Elements (mix 50%, gain switch to low)... is awesome!!
Clean blend, low gain, high gain, fuzz, EQ... it does everything well!! A must have.

I would post up some clips but I can't record well to save my life. Especially bass.

I'm sure some ILFer will post some bass demo with the traveling Elementos.
Unfortunately, I don't have a bass.

Thanks Charlie! *high five*
I don't have a bass either but the Elements (and all my pedals) are set up to work well with bass. You can cut the bass going through the Elements but you can leave it untouched too.. although with bass I think it sounds best, with high gain at least, to cut some of the bass that's being distorted and then use the mix to bring in clean bass for the solid lows.
I like low tuned guitar so the Elements definitely sounds cool playing low... like Lil John.. remember Get Low?
