Re: The Confessions Thread
i just got about half of my hair cut off. it's still past my shoulders, but i wanted to get away from the J. Macsis look. as i said to the rather yappy girl at SuperCuts, "i'm trying for a middle path between feral and yuppie." when it's a foot and a half long it's just too much of a pain in the ass to deal with.

Re: The Confessions Thread
It does kinda get in the way. But I figure I may as well let it go while I don't have any commitments like a "real" job and whatnot. As long as it doesn't look horrible, I mean.
At least having a lot of hair is nice when winter rolls around. Awful when it's humid though. Before my hair became heavy enough to hang down, it was a formidable fro indeed...t took hours to dry after I got out of the shower.
Good times.

Re: The Confessions Thread
well, that's the thing...when i was younger it was nice when it was long, all pretty and James Taylor-like. but now that i'm older and it's gone grey and thin it's just scraggly and kind of Aqualung-esque, and that's really not the image i'm going for LOL. we've got a plethora of ratty-looking old motherfuckers in Santa Cruz County as it is.
i just caught one of the annoying fruit flies that got into the compost bin out of the air with my hand...i feel like the Lizard of Death. i fucking HATE flies.

Re: The Confessions Thread
One day in middle school we were playing indoor basketball. I went for a jump shot and immediately faceplanted.
I looked down, puzzled at what looks like a piece of paper and realized I slipped on a fucking dryer sheet...a dryer sheet that fell out of my shorts.
I WAS ALREADY AWKWARD AS FUCK WHY DID THIS HAVE TO HAPPENNnnnnnnn

I've developed a habit recently of eating .5-1 lb of hummus per day.

Flatbread, triscuits, or crackers.
Any of those that I can find in some kind of Mediterranean / garden vegetable variety.
If I can find Jalapeno hummus I usually go through over a pound per day. They don't always have it in stores around here though.

Do you guys make your own hummus or buy it?
My sister and make our own a lot, and it doesn't last longer than an hour.
