Dirt Tran vs Dreamcrusher
I like fuzz faces and cool sounds...can't decide between the two fuzzies. I like low end...which has more?

Re: Dirt Tran vs Dreamcrusher
Haven't tried the DC, but I hear a noticeable low/low-mid boost when I kick on the DT.
The demos I've watched make me think the DC is much more like a FF than the DT.

Your days of plenty are numbered.

Dream Crusher definitely brings the lows, especially when you crank the gain. A couple points of comparison: DC on max gain sounds very similar to a Soda Meiser on close to minimum gain. DC is bassier than the Tone Reaper with the tone knob all the way to the bass side. But I haven't played a Dirt Transmitter...

Damn, I wish Richmond had a dealer around here! Guitar shops suck here! I love the simplicity of the DC and I know since it's a fuzz face it's got some lows, but the DT seems slightly more versatile. Also, the whole DC needs it's own power supply thing means spending a wee more, which is no big, but I'd rather not. I wonder if they'll put out a si version? I'm not one to care usually, but after watching hundreds of fuzz demos your ear starts to hear it and just wonder.
Anyone selling a DT?

Just watched a demo with proper speakers and now I'm really conflicted! Don't need multiple "normal" fuzzies...fuck!

Guitar -> DT -> bass amp brought a ton of low end when I had a DT.
I didn't like it much with my jazz bass, though.

Re: Dirt Tran vs Dreamcrusher
With that set up a DT would probably sound fucking massive.

Re: Dirt Tran vs Dreamcrusher
Dirt Transmitter has become one of my favorite pedals. I bias it to about 10 o'clock and run flange into it making it sound like a distorted Keyboard which is super fun.
