Bypass POP

Post by TheAttackman »

So I just built a woolly mammoth clone and it works bypassed
but when I hit the footswitch there is a loud pop followed by silence...
The led still lights up...
It's the switch right??
What am I doing wrong??

In a 3pdt switch, you just need the input on the switch grounded. When it's off, it holds a charge, so when you swith it to on, the pop is the noise of that discharge.

Check out this diagram for wiring the switch. note the brown wire from the input being grounded on the switch.
