The Elements is dirtylicious!

Post by Kayzer »

…this pedal seriously is the swiss army knife of dirt pedals!

It covers EQ and Boost needs as well as low gain and fuzzy stuff and even up to face melting high gain with just a flip of a switch.

Since I am not into 10 Minute Demo Videos I split this one in 2 parts
There is a dedicated High Gain Demo showing the pedal with 9 and 18V juice and also some looper wanking…
2nd there is a Low Gain, Fuzz and Cleanness EQ style Demo with lots of delay and also switching between 9V and 18V somewhere in the middle of the clip…

Enjoy:

Agreed!

For some reason this reminds me of the Box of Rock (cascading boosts anyone?). But...So. Much. Moar.

Yes it is!!!
And what is great about it... it stack well with other dirt.
Four Eyes Fuzz into The Elements (low gain) is one of my favorite combo.

Here are 2 additional shootouts for The Elements, a Rock riffing style one with the multi drive and a brutal one with the Openhaus and Dominator.

As always I tried to tweak the sound close together on the pedals so listen closely to the nuances…

Very cool videos, Dennis, love them all and thank you!

It's hard to stand up well against the Dominator... I mean, look at that massive light... it's awesome!

(I think the Toneczar is awesome too and it's cool to hear the Elements beside those legends of distortion)

It is a bit tough to compare those pedals cause most of them are super tweakable and I cant go through a quadrillion settings and do a 20 minutes video that’s just not my style and you can still watch my individual demos to get a better idea about cool settings…

In my opinion the elements does an awesome job, standing against the other competitors, it has a unique vibe in the distortion and it can sound pretty aggressive and uncompressed to my ears. Its hard to explain but I think you might get what I am talking about…

All in all the Elements is close to the Dominator and the Openhaus while still keeping its own vibe and sound.
You can definitely get an awesome brutal tone and much more out of the elements…

I love my Elements! It recently sent my OCD and Boiling Point packing.

I like running it at 18V, wide open and natural sounding with shit tons of gain, even some fuzziness to be had. Good crunch and lower gain stuff too, craaaaaaaazzzyyy versatile! The low gain side rules for boosting pre or post fuzz and the 3 band EQ is so useful.

Well done Dr.!
