i just finished the first "official" build.
holy fuck this thing is gonna shred your dick off your balls and leave you wondering what the fuck you're going to do with the rest of your dickless life

That's like the best and worst news ever, delivered simultaneously no less.

Does it sound and/or react way differently depending how you run it, direct-to-cab vs pedal chain?

yeah - not tremendously, but the fact that you're running through the amp vs just the speaker obviously makes it sound totally different and as far as the way it reacts... there are definitely a few sounds that you can get from one setup and not the other, but for the most part the differences are subtle tonal shifts, rather than drastic new effects... YMMV though - i've only tried it through so many cabs and with so many instruments/pedals.

first and foremost - THE POLY-GRACE IS LIKE US. IT LOVES FUZZ.

i tried running a few different fuzzes pre-poly-grace and it was sweet. octavia into poly-grace on one particular setting was making these really cool phaser-ish and tremolo sounds depending on the note-beating of the guitar chord/notes. i will be making more clips this week as i build more and once they get mailed out i'll definitely start a settings thread - it'll be really cool to see how people are using it and will help everyone out.
