Let's see if I can remember..

I started out with a Russian big muff, then got a fuzz factory, then a torns peaker, then a hoof, then a sound shank, then a pedal called the logic fuzz built by culturejam, then a foxx tone machine clone, then a skreddy supa tone, and now I'm building an IC muff and I just bought a Hyperion.

Sooo nothing compared to some of the freaks here but I couldn't handle much more.

Ownership in relative order:
-Bass BMP
-Mid-Fi Clarinot
-Mountainking Electronics FreqLSD (w/extra EXP controls)
-Melx Fuzz 2
-Effector 13 Improbability Drive
-Rockness Monster Flash Fuzz
-Earthquaker Devices Dream Crusher

Things I've tried in tourboxes:
-Fuzzhugger Velcrossilator
-Fuzzhugger Chalice

-Smallsound/Bigsound Team Awesome Fuzz Machine
-Smallsound/Bigsound Year 4545

I know I'm missing a few probably, but shit, I've tried a decent number of fuzz boxes, and I've barely scratched the surface of all the fuzz out there. It's a fuzzy world out there.
Do you like listening to homemade music? Me too. Why don't you try one of mine?

Current ILF Love: OHNOHO CHK CHK BOOM, Mellowtone Melx Fuzz 2, EQD Dream Crusher, Devi Ever ID, Dr. Scientist Proto-Miniberator - new vids eventually

Lots...but I'll give you something different.
The (incomplete) history of the tonebender, as told by last weeks fuzz haul.
I went on something of a bender (:rimshot:)

MKI Tone Bender:
(THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID)
Image
Image

The big daddy. A nasty with a very odd/unpredictable sustain/decay.
Poor picture, the gold looks all washed out...but it looks cool up close with the retro folded enclosure.

Fuzz Face (si):

Image
Image

...but wait, why is a fuzz face in here? Well in 1966 a slimmed down 2 transistor circuit now referred to as the "Tone Bender MK1.5" began to appear.
That same year, Arbiter mysteriously came out with nearly the same exact pedal, which they dubbed the Fuzz Face. After a short time using pnp ge bits, these new fangled more reliable silicon transistors began to catch on, and ge transistors were dropped in favor of silicon...which brings us to the silicon fuzz face shown here. So yeah.

Professional MKII Tone Bender:

Image
Image

You know what this is. Get the led out.
According to one Steve Williams, this particular fuzz is as close a replica of a long board proMKII as he's ever been able to produce.

Tone Bender MKIII:
Image
Image

The 3 stands for the addition of a 3rd knob. Well not really...but they did add a tone control to the TB for this version.
Not as unruly as it's forefathers, they kinda smoothed things out. You can start to hear the beginnings of a muff as far as saturation goes.

Dizzy Tone:

Image
Image

The distant cousin who wants to get down and dirty. Never mind that she looks just like your mom.
The Elka Dizzy Tone. Cousin to the buzzaround....which happens to be cousin to the Tone Bender MKIII ( )
Like the buzzaround, these babies have the most gain you'll ever pump out of a germanium fuzz. It can go from paper thin razor fuzz to full on muffy. Yum.
There are some that call me...morningstaru?
