NPD (Dunlop content)

Got one of these:

Gigged with it last night, pretty awesome. Really smooth travel without flopping into the toe or heel down positions. "Tone suck" not all that noticeable especially for a passive pedal (i.e. does not make my amp sound like it's underwater as other volume pedals have). The first batch had bad steel bands that'd break - apparently you can tell this batch by its rougher finish (the new ones are all smooth brushed aluminum) - so, watch out for those. There's a flat rubber-ish surface on the bottom instead of annoying rubber feet, but it's so huge I don't know who'd mount it to a board. Not so huge that it doesn't fit in the front pocket of my PT-mini bag, which is great.

So uh, good job, Dunlop. :thumb:

But how well does it do the "it's loud and then it's quiet!" trick?

It doesn't suck your dick or anything, but it's certainly capable of making your signal loud, then quiet. Then loud again, if you want. Maybe a few shades in between.

A lot better, yes. Sounds better, feels better. Only time will tell if the pot system is better, I guess.
