You're a bassist, right? I got some crazy sounds with bass -> Fuck (high crackle engaged) -> flanger -> reverb. Try it if you can.

I wanted a blue sky for its intense reverbs( also there's a mode that does regenerative octaves+ fuzz = super octave fuzz). I don't like flangers - I might be purchasing a phaser pretty soon though(whetstone or Grand Orbiter). At first I was thinking of turning the crackle off, but I'm really interested in the crackle now. Can't wait! il let you guys know how I like it.
