Just finished the new Captain America game last night. It was a pretty good Prince of Persia in stars-n-stripes...but way too easy I played it on Normal..but it felt more like Easy/very easy.
Dude, that game is awesome. A friend bought it for me based only on the knowledge that I would like the surf guitar. Looks simple but it's really a lot of fun. But fuck sniper teams, so goddamn useless compared to an infantry squad or...like anything else. JUST LIKE SNIPERS IN ANY OTHER GAME EVER The super-long campaigns get ridiculous if you have a steady win streak in the beginning -- just blow everything away when you get 2 or 3 artillery pieces per map.

So I went into a gamestop yesterday and came to a shocking realization... I have almost no use for it anymore, aside from preordering console games (and even then not too many [dark souls and I'll probably be picking up Catherine for ps3 at some point]) it really, REALLY has nothing for me which is insane because up to like... a year ago i didn't even game all that much, and when I did it was all console, I really believed pc gaming was dying.... on the one hand it's great to know I was wrong, on the other hand it's almost sad to me that there are so many people who don't even know what steam is. used games? Son, I just picked up Batman: AA GOTY edition...for 7.50. it'll never get scratched and i'll own it forever...

I just played and beat the newest "Splatterhouse" game for XBox 360. It got really shitty reviews, and I can mostly see why (terrible load times, crappy camera angles, fighting the same 7 enemy types repeatedly, etc.), but I still had a lot of fun with it. I think I'm gonna go back and actually finish "Oblivion" since I'm only like 10 hours away from it, and I realllly want to play "Skyrim"!!!

Yep the load times were especially brutal, and it wouldn't let me install on the HD so I had to deal with the jet engine.
Infamous 2: Almost exactly like Infamous 1 with weaker motivation/pacing. Graphics are nicer, and the updated powers (and power switching) are fun/useful. A few new tricks tossed in but it's been a bit stale/tired so far. Really enjoyed the first game though
