Just picked up the bass about 3-4 months ago, (not really keeping track) and I am pretty interested in pedal effects.
I study and play as much as I can so I can progress faster.

Hiya!

Jonathan here. I'm 18 years old, male obviously and hail from Sweden, moving with my band to a cramped apartment in London in a few months though.

I play a bunch of instruments, my main is guitar though which i've been playing for about 5 years. Other than that i play drums,piano,bass, banjo,cello,mandolin and some other simpler stuff.

My gear includes a American standard Telecaster,Laney VC15 and a bunch of effect pedals, my main weapons are Blackout Effector Musket Fuzz,Electro Harmonix Hog and a Vox Satchurator which is an amazing pedal for alternative rock sounds reminiscent of bands like Pavement and Pixies.

Pretty much all my daily life is spent on either music or art, i love music more than anything, i don't like using the cliché "music is my life" because it really goes beyond that, it's what i live and breath.

The music i make is kind of hard to put in a genre, i'd say it's a mix between shoegaze,alternative rock,post rock, 90's emo, post punk and a bunch of other miserable stuff. It doesn't sound anything like any of those genres though. i steal from everything and try to make it into a wonderful mess.

My guitar playing style is alot like that you'd find in a country players style. I use alot of chicken picken, i really am quite proud of it as i've really developed my own style around it which makes my playing alot more personal i think.

My favourite musical artists are: Radiohead, My Bloody Valentine, Daniel Johnston, Mogwai, The Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble, Sunn O))),Howlin´ Wolf, American Football, Kyuss, Tom Waits, Dinosaur Jr., Have A Nice Life, Pixies, Throbbing Gristle and Slowdive to name a bunch.

Oh well there's alot more about me i haven't posted but i guess it will all reveal itself as we go along.
