The finish is really hard to photograph but it looks closest to this :

I put a lot of work into this one... I also carved into the back (in a pretty haggard manner if I do say so ) and then powdercoated over that and got a pretty cool look.

I've been jamming with my tele > the rooster > nova delay > orange ad30 and loving every minute of it.

Yea. I changed out the clipping diode from an led to a different diode I had a random bag of and I got a lot better sound out of it. Sounds really muffish. I'll probably make a demo of it tomorrow.

UV300 vibrato rehouse. I had to break one before I got it right. lots of hours here. one of the foot switches has a 390nF cap in parallel with c15 to slow down the rate. I reinstalled the stock status light so its easy to tell that the on-board solder jumper is still intact and the pedal is booting into on mode. the trace you must jumper is about 1/10 the size of an smd part. I can post more info if you want to build one.

Has anyone ever carved an enclosure before? Like with a dremel or something? I tried once, and it was harder than I thought. Might have another go at it.

The led is usually pretty solid without glue but they were moving around when i touched led v+. If you can bend it into place and get the cover on without glue, there is nothing that will move it. Not even gravity. If you use a bezel, it puts the led higher where it may get damaged by your foot. Thats why i like doing it this way. Cheap, simple, longer lasting.

Jero, its a hand carved wax mask, i dont use press n peel blue or magazine paper.
