Strats and Strat knockoffs are about the only thing you'll find used in this town. Very rarely will something different come up for sale,...except for Les Pauls and cornball metal guitars or just cheap junk.

I'm a Tele guy,...they are just so simple and well suited to my heavy handed picking style. There's nothing in the way. I also love me some SGs.

I'm not opposed to Strats,...they sound great,...but they are just a little too ubiquitous for my tastes (that's not meant to be a dig). Of course as a bass player mainly,...I'd verbally abuse kittens to get my hands on decent P's and J's. Now that I'm working actually thinking about picking up a MIM P-Bass that's about $200 at a pawnshop (I could talk them into paying the taxes for me) and fiddling with the electicals and tossing some flats on it. Talk about ubiquitous ;)

I'm all about the P-bass as well for low-end. There's nothing wrong with ubiquitious if it's what works for you!

No doubt. Put the aforementioned PBass through an SVT->8x10 (or a Portaflex B-15 for recordzing). Mmmmmmmmm,.....

Oh, man, I just had a nostalgia flashback to the '90s when I was in high school and I would look at the Carvin catalogs for hours trying to figure out the perfectly customized guitar based purely on the descriptions. :picard:  :picard:

Feel really good about my selection. Lots of different tones coming from here. Haven't been this happy in a while.

Sweet guitar dude! I'm chasing a 339 at the moment if I can find someone who'd ship it!

The SD Antiquity NECK humbucker is absolutely killer and probably my equal fav pickup out of the ones I've owned/played.

I'm sure it'll sound amazing in all it's big sounding glory with some Muff action!

PS Adrianlee has a pretty sweet collection too. I much prefer Fender Maple Fboards to their RW. Also the Reverend Daredevil I would love to check out sometime,....but I think the Reverend dealer dropped or lost it's contract.
