CAUSE IT TOOK SO LONG TO MAKE
AND I'LL NEVER HAVE THAT RECIPE AGAAAAAAAAAAIIIIN.

In other news, I think I'm going to audition for my local community theater's production of Rocky Horror and sing Took My Lady to Dinner by King Khan and the Shrines as Dr. Frank-N-Furter.

Why do some dudes look really fit / big but are weaker compared to guys who look smaller. Like between my sets i was watching two different guys do bench and the first dude did twice as much in perfect form and looked relatively normal while the "big dude" did bitchy shallow ones at a much lighter weight. Like both did similar sets and reps so i was just fairly confused.

There are several possible reasons. The most likely is that the larger guy has his routine organized in such a way as to put on mass as quickly as possible. He probably varies his routine only to continue putting on mass.

I'd put money on they weren't using a bench press machine, but rather a bar or free weights when you saw this. The bigger guy will almost certainly have greater brute strength, however he likely has less developed stabilizer muscles, and relatively crude motor control in comparison to the smaller guy. The smaller guy has what's called demonstrable strength (which is why with something like free weights he'd be able to put up more than the other guy). This comes with developed core and stabilizer muscles, and a routine that varies regularly and incorporates not only conventional strength building exercises, but also endurance training, and gradually but always steadily increases in intensity.

I just want to add in a very simple way, that body building and weight lifting are similar sports that have two different goals. one is to get big and look good in competition. the other is to lift the maximum amount of weight. the weight lifter usually doesn't strive for 1% or %5 body fat and doesn't care about size.
