Squeaking strap locks
When I got my Burny Les Paul lawsuit guitar, the strap button holes were stripped. So I did the ol' 'toothpaste and glue' trick for schaller strap locks and works well. The problem is I have noticed as of lately, is that there is a noticeable squeak when playing my guitar which amplifies when playing. Anyway to solve this problem.

Re: Squeaking strap locks
I have had Schaller locks on four guitars and never had a squeak.
Maybe try some powdered graphite?

You can also use it on the nut when you change strings.
