I'd go with Emperor as well. For the money, I don't think you can get a better custom cab built to massive proportions. Or a sexier one....
Plus I hear they're gonna start shipping international, possibly as early as Fall this year.
I have an oversized 4x12, vintage traynor cab from the 1970s. IT'S HUGE/TALL. I love it. I run an old fender twin with it. The presence and low-end is absolutely perfect.
i decided a tad while ago to save for my dream amp and just buy it even though its gonna cost 3000 dollars morgan ac20tb master volume with marshall tall boy 4x12 or custom 6x12
There's a Sunn 4x15 that pops up on WI craigslist every six months - a year... Always gas for it, tho I'd have to have friends move it, and then just leave it in that one space in the garage.
There's a cool Traynor 8x10 on local CL right now. All the speakers were replaced with inexpensive Jensen Mod Tones tho, I don't know how they'd sound with tons of fuzz or distortion. Sweet pics in the ad too. (Not my cab or anyone I know). http://wausau.craigslist.org/msg/2413912297.html

Monstrous cab weight + no band is why I'm not tempted to go and try out that Traynor 8x10. I'm using a combo 12" and closed 1x12" for almost all my playing + recording.
You should go out and start a band today! Then you can order your 6x12 tomorrow! There's tons of underground musicians in Ohio, assuming you want to play doom-sludge-thunderous rock musick.
Black Keys are from OH, right? There must be a couple dozen white-doods who want to play fuzz-blues...

I would think so to a certain extent. Live it wouldn't be much of a problem but in the studio it would suck. You would definitely want to get those removable Pelican 0507 casters like on my cab if you plan on doing both.
Those might be. I can't tell from the photo.
Mine are not Pelican brand I don't think. I suspect they are the Mesa Boogie ones.

I saw this picture of Hendrix, all he used was a wah.... And not even the Jim Dunlop Jimi Hedrix wah, just some old thing.....
Jimi didn't realise the horrible tone suck we had to listen to every time he used that wah.
