Whirl or Whirr
Has anyone else heard these guys I say both names because they were called Whirl but were sued and are now Whirr. Its one of the members of the black metal band Deafheaven's shoegaze band. I have been listening to their cassette that I picked up off of the Deathwish Inc. site almost constantly. They are on bridgetown records and the cassette's a pressing of 50 I think they also have a vinyl you can pick up from deathwish inc as well. Totally worth checking out.

Absolutely amazing band! They have a really nice sound going. Downloaded the ep about a year ago and it very quickly became the most played thing on my ipod. Picked up the tape from Bridgetowb a few weeks ago. I would HIGHLY recommend buying stuff from them. Really nice friendly customer service, super fast shipping, and a really nice handwritten letter too. Really can't wait to hear more from Whirr.

Whoa! Totally diggin' it! But sad that I can't find any links for mp3 downloads... impulse for instant gratification hates being delayed...

Hey to download I did a google blogs search. Just put in whirl distressor and a site celestial movements I think it was called I know celestial was in the name and they should have a link up. Their bandcamp had everything up for free download a few weeks ago I guess to build up some hype. But this is becoming the most played thing on my itunes and ipod. I'm psyched bridgtown was awesome to deal with I was thinking of getting a few cassettes but was hesitant since I never dealt with them or new anyone that had but now I won't think twice.

Really great to hear man, we all really appreciate you supporting and spreading the word.
As for recent releases we have a 7" coming out in September : http://teepeerecords.com/
And we're going to the studio Aug 15-18 to record our debut LP, which wont be released until early 2012.
One of the 7" songs should premier anytime now, probably next week.

Sweet! Can't wait to pick it up. Hope the recording goes well too.
In other related news, Kevin from Bridgetown is currently on tour with Ancient Crux and they got robbed the other night. Kevin posted this yesterday.....
Just played some of the best shows I've ever played on tours, bookended by a $472 speeding ticket and getting one of our cars broken into in Seattle. Hundreds of dollars in cash, Travis and Tyler's clothes and all of their personal belongings including toiletries, glasses, ipod, laptop, phone chargers, etc were all stolen.
We're going to fix the window today and keep going. If you can come out to the shows and hang out, get some merch, etc., it would mean a lot.
And anyone who can't come but has a few bucks to spare, we could really use some help with gas, food, repairs. It all adds up and will make this a little easier on us.
My paypal is kisforkevvin@gmail.com and we can mail you some of our new tour releases when I get home. But for the time being it's really rough trying to figure this all out.
Please spread the word if you can.
Thanks to everyone who has set up shows on this tour, they've been amazing so far and we're going to put everything we have in us into our sets as we finish this out.
I really can't stress how nice this dude is, so if you were thinking of ordering anything from Bridgetown, now would be a great time to do it to help the dudes out.

Cant wait for the new 7" to get released and hopefully you'll make it over to the east coast for some NYC dates after the full length release. Gunna go bump the cassette some more and screen print patches for my buddy's band in my basement.

Downloaded, listening, totally loving it!
Will the EP be available digitally, or only on vinyl?
