Of course ... it's a Rangemaster, not a pedal. :thumb:

you are right about that. if thats how you want it than perhaps its missing a crappy grey guitar cable hanging out the back  JMI has one but they seem to be dropping in price while the dallas is going up :idk:

BTW I absolutely   my oc44 that I built with the input cap on a switch. definitely one of those pedals that you never want to get rid of.

I got a good deal on a JMI too -- it's actually pretty good, but not a patch on the Treboost. One of these days I might try putting a proper old Mullard OC44 in there -- JMI upcharged by what $200 for those trannies :wha?:
I've also got a HornbySkewes treble booster that Ghost/Ian built for me a while ago, which kills.

With an AC30, you never switch off the treble booster anyway, so it's all good.

Hey, talking of rare...I have this on the way. I think they only made a few hundred of these.

I suspect this is a bit rare. I've never seen another one.

I saw this picture of Hendrix, all he used was a wah.... And not even the Jim Dunlop Jimi Hedrix wah, just some old thing.....
Jimi didn't realise the horrible tone suck we had to listen to every time he used that wah.

That's about it as far as rarities go for my small collection. Found it via allcraigs.com, bought it for 300, saw one in more beat-up condition go for 400 the next day on eBay. w00t.

...also, first post.

Welcome!

The Space Station is such a fun pedal. I've been wanting one for years.

Honestly, I usually use all of 2 presets from the first 9 settings-- they're string synths and remind me of a more cosmic Slowdive sound. If I recall, the Alien settings are more a bubbling filter sound...if you YouTube search for the pedal, you'll find a great video of a Scottish dude going through all 40 presets. I'd link you, but YT is blocked at my work.

I wish I could've bought that Ric...'78 4001. Totally gorgeous. I play a 2008 Jetglo 4003. Cheers!
