And it'd be cool and black.

I sold my first one because it was unusably loud. Kinda lame you'd have to pay a whole lot extra to get that fixed.

I'd like another one, but the volume would have to be fixed.

It has so much volume! It's crazy how loud it gets. My volume looks like it's off.

Yeah, loudest pedal I own, hands down! I thought mine was broken at first.

It's a close call on upgrade vs flip for new.

i owned a second voice and was kind of disapointed. it is pretty wild and requires a lot of knob tweaking to get the 5ths. i'm waiting for a bit commander now.

After listening to a few video, I think I prefer the Subdecay Octasynth.
I might go to Moog in Montreal during my vacation in August to try one.

Depends on the setup I'd say. I definitely wish the range knob was consistent with each interval, but whatever. The fifth is really where it's at. Add my Pox and it's a perfect world.

Yea I agree. Super touchy. I had to have the settings perfect, and my neck pup on and play specific notes.

That is with all of These Pedals the Same. True.

edit:
the second voice is as far as what i have tried, the best reacting and tuneable pedal with octaves (and has other options).
this is my rating list in tracking and playability for analog devices (and between the 1st and 2nd place is a gap!):
2nd voice (and harmony synth)
perseus
purple haze
blue box

i will add the octasynth and bit commander when i checked them out.

all these pedals react better with the neck pup and in fret areas above 7th fret. if someone does not like these main characters of this kind of pedals some digital stuff would be a better alternative.

i love loud pedals. never had issues with too much volume :idk:

I usually don't have a problem with it. But that was almost too touchy to get the volume JUST right. You have like millimeters of wiggle room.

Oh, and every time I played it... I had flashbacks. :trippy:

Received my Second Voice from Ken today with the Volume Taper and Clean Blend mods. Facking AWESOME!

Anyone who had issues with the insane volume previously on tap early in the taper, these mods are a HUGE improvement. The volume is still available, however, spread out nice and evenly throughout the volume control, way more useable.

The Clean Blend mod is cool too, offers a noticeably wider range, lots of cools sounds within, again, more useable settings.

I can only imagine Exp/CV options would really kick ass, I can only wonder. Looking forward to hearing thoughts on those that get 'em!
