Looking for bass dirt advice
I currently have a TAFM and an ODB-3. They're both awesome, but the ODB-3 just doesn't really mess well with the TAFM to my ears. It just seems kind of obvious that I'm switching between a digital and an analog pedal. I also feel like they sound similar to each other (might be my settings). I would like to replace the ODB-3 with either an overdrive or (more preferably) another fuzz.
What would you all recommend? I want something that works well with the TAFM, and perhaps together could rip planets apart, but still be useful and distinct in its own right. I'm currently looking into the Pharaoh Fuzz, but would like to try one out first. I'd also like to a Sound Shank, but those aren't readily available. Any suggestions on other pedals to really look at? Preferably something with a blend.

Oh good suggestion. I didn't think about the Rat.

Fulltone bass drive is pretty awesome.

I really like the sound of that Germanium B:Assmaster, from the youtube clips, of course..... I think it would be cool as I could use it for guitar as well.........

We all sort of swap in my band, and tossed around for the bass is a Boss Power Stack - I know Boss isn't exactly "in" here but it sounds fucking great with a bass........
Do you guys ever drink Bass ale while playing a bass? Ha ha.......

Try looking at Fuzzrocious pedals. Ryan is the best and he plays bass too. I have a Grey Stache and that into my TAFM is just so fucking WICKED!!! Totally face melting. He also makes a Rat clone geared for bass called the Rat Tail.
Although I haven't really ran anything into my TAFM that didn't sound anything short of amazing.

The ODB-3 isn't digital, actually. Totally analog.
I'd totally second the Rat. They're basically perfect little dirt boxes.
... I'm told the my And Aardvarks! pedal likes other pedals quite a lot.
But it's not like a Rat, or a fuzz for that matter, soooo!- Holy Schnikes

I'll second that And Aardvarks! suggestion. That little boost/OD works amazing both before and after several different med-high gain fuzz and dirt pedals in my experience.
Nice crunchy dirt on it's own but really amazing when paired.

If you want a medium to huge massive fuzz with a tone of tonal/timbre options, look into the Eau Claire Thunder. There is a lot of low end on all settings I've tried.
I should also have a Pharaoh coming soon, so I can share my opinion on that if you're interested.

I can't argue with an ECT, but the Hair of the Dog is tailored to bass, it has a gate and a blend. I used it all weekend on baritone and bass.

Hear good things about the Arc Flash on bass also.

Yes, I'd love to hear it. I've heard good things about it, but more info the better.

Sounds killer on bass or guitar!
The Pharaoh and the TAFM are the best "heavy fuzz" tones I've heard that let the lows flow. That dirty(ish) clean blend on the TAFM friggin' rules too, much better than your standard clean blended fuzz tone imo.
