Hey Milwaukee!(Borg Ward thread)

Has anybody been to any Borg Ward shows? I've been meaning to check it out for a bit now and I think I'm gonna try and make it next Monday(Slob Donovan, Step Dads, Like Like The The The Death). I'm tired of being a loser and want to support my local noise scene and this seems like a good place to start.

Anybody been? Anybody going?

When I'm not throwing the discus I play guitar in LLTTTD. So I'll be at that show too!

The Borg Ward is in my opinion the best all ages venue in Milwaukee. They have a gallery out in the front of the space that usually has really impressive shows (Tony from LLTTTD just had an art show there last weekend) and the rock venue is in the back. The crowd is usually pretty cool and diverse. Young kids, punks, old rockers, nerdy girls, etc. Everyone who works/lives there is very friendly too (like Kyle, the bass player for LLTTTD).

There's lots of good Mexican food around there too. Might be a good option to hit that up before the show and make a date night out of it! I recommend Conejitos Place. Cheap and ridiculously good.
