...Well, this is awkward.....
I'm assuming because you wanta bass overdrive as a trade you didn't like this on bass; if I'm correct with my assumption, would you mind sharing why?

No, awkward just 'cuz it's mine. Felt like I was spamming. As I said before, I think it's great for bass. I always just end up feeling weird for having expensive things . Same reason why I sold my RedBear.
Seriously. I've been playing through my friends SVT Classic. with the mantra gain dime'd and the treble and lows boosted it sound just like hitting the SVT hard though the shitty ampeg solidstate we use at our practice space.
You know, the Mantra totally slipped my mind. I'll give it a looksie. Hey Baxandall, that Plimsoul on bass sounds like a good idea.

Good deals with: Bellyheart, bronzetalon, kbithecrowning, fuzzmax, jwar, misc1600, hatshirt, colin, chippywallace, Monkey Boy, skullservant, jumbosteelie, foomanfat, sanfordandsonny, pez.period, proroby, excane
You guys are probably going to hate me, but I've decided to keep the Pork Loin afterall. I opened it up and twisted the internal knobs, and now it just sounds so seet, I can't in conciousness get rid of it. However, I still think I nedd 2 overdrives, how's the Singing Tree for stacking with other pedals? I think some righteous layering is in order.

I'll maybe have time this week to put a little clip together. I love that OD pedal. To me it's like a driven Marshall plexi in a box.

I saw this picture of Hendrix, all he used was a wah.... And not even the Jim Dunlop Jimi Hedrix wah, just some old thing.....
Jimi didn't realise the horrible tone suck we had to listen to every time he used that wah.
I can recommend both the Mantra and the Singing Tree, but i've also been pretty curious to try AA and Fuck. the Singing Tree plays very well with others. the Mantra is a lot darker, and i like the sound of it by itself a lot more than i like it stacked with my fuzzes.
There's that thread that I started a few weeks ago. I ended up snagging a Fulltone Bass Driver from mauerkraut (did you ship that yet? ) and I'm curious to see how it crams and crunches. I'm to be using it as just a toughener... to add just a tiiiiiiiny bit of grit to my main bass signal.
