we just finished recording our debut ep. my collection of e13 pedals ended up being a fundamental texture across most of the tracks.

i currently have a TBD, torns peaker and an early model sodameiser. love all three and can't wait to get more for when we record the album!

have a listen to our tracks on myspace. love to hear what you think!

Hi,here is our music
www.myspace.com/alogicstudios

Our next release is going to be a 12" vinyl on the english record label FatCat (if everything works out) and for the first time we have used a deviever-fx (effector13) in a recording, lots of truly beautiful disaster.

Thanks! Glad you like it!

We definitely have a thing for palindromes. All of our stage names are palindromes too.

One of the weirdest things I found out on tour is that girls totally love palindromes.

Palindromes are totally the new six-pack abs.

Congrats on that!
No luck getting it as a cd as well? Or a download release?
Come play more in london if you can, I missed the concrete and glass concert. I'm trying to bribe the people at Miasmah to come over as well, we could have a norwegian culture night. The swedish embassy got to have one, only fair that we get one too!
One of my exhibitions this year is inspired by some of your sound techniques, by the way. Not in a stealy way, at least I hope not. Just friendly inspiration.

I played in this band for a while, a kind of post-rock type of thing. I've no idea how to define it. We did a split 7" that probably sold about 2 copies, and those were to friends http://www.myspace.com/violadub

After I left I formed an improvised noise/drone/doom band with a friend. We recorded about 4 hours worth of...well, noise really, to four track and then we released a CDR on my silly DIY label. Should be doing another sometime this year - http://www.myspace.com/loudisnotenough

Now I am making pointless noise and ambient drones - http://www.myspace.com/pristina78. I'm not very happy with any of the music, but I don't have a proper setup yet.

We'll be on tour with A Place To Bury Strangers in April :p

Our music video :

That was pretty cool. One of the best concepts for a music video I've seen in a long time.

Hi, sorry for responding late, I don't know if FatCat want to do cd and download release, I think it's meant to be only on vinyl but I'm not 100% sure (maybe I shouldn't talk too much of this as it is not yet released). We had a great time playing in London the last time and we like the city so maybe we will play there again.

My on-hiatus band, Leopold & Loeb, can be found in my signature, with a couple of tracks from our album. I'd strongly suggest, however, checking out the recording of our last show at the Elbo Room (click on "Public," items 01 through 11), because we were going balls out that night and the sound came out excellently.

My new project, The Silver Age, is gestating.

Here's a set recently performed by an improv/rock/noise thing I've been part of lately, called Chemically Restrained. The set is about half-hour long, and the most interesting bits (to my ears) start after the first four minutes—visually enhanced by the guy dancing to the camera! Using a lot of Devi pedals here, esp. the TBD (I'm on bass).

BTW, that night we opened for Mute Socialite (from Oakland). They are amazing, and I highly recommend the vinyl they have available on their MySpace page. A sort of crazed Capt. Beefheart vs. Jesus Lizard sound...
