This and the "calgary" single is all I've heard. When I heard calgary i was like "Oh fuck, no this is horrible and I want to forget it ever happened" but then there's fucking Ministry Drum machines in this one, and the building is just infuckingcredible. I hope the rest holds up to this here "perth" BUt I've heard it's just chock full of fuckign awful Bruce Hornsby keyboards and other wuss-rock favorites.

There is one track that seems really out of place with the keyboards you speak of, I feel like it was added to fill space. I think the rest of the album is great for what it is; delicate music with many open spaces.

well I think that for emma forever ago was just better. More feeling and stuff
but thats just me :)

so is this album like an overproduced Karl Blau album?

cuz it kinda sounds like that.

it always weirds me out how many new "OMG SO COOL" acts these days sound like something Karl Blau did.

I love the album, except for Beth/Rest. Don't go in expecting another For Emma. It sounds like he tried to bridge together Bon Iver, Gayngs, and Volcano Choir within this album.
