I absolutely concur on the Big Muff and RAT tip. No offense ever at all to our boutique indie builder friends here on ILF, but those two pedals, for me, will never be topped.

to break up the Phase 90 love, I think the Small Stone is one of the raddest easy to find pedals out there.

That's bass players for you... I meant for stuff he could buy at the store it's pretty bassy... My Jero Civil War Muff is way bassier but you can't just go and buy one... I just checked that site and there are definitely some cool pedals... DOD American Metal, so you can play American Heavy Metal Weekend...
