So.. Iwas looking for a good AMV with Yoko play'n and I couldn't find one I liked... so I made my own
Didn't want to make a separate thread for this in music, so I figured this is the next best place. If you know anyone in or around Boston, tell them to come see Mel of Colour perform this Friday night at Kingston Station in Downtown Crossing. 9pm-12am, no cover. Kitchen is open until 12am, bar is open until 2am.
* The owner called me earlier today to tell me he didn't think there would be much business this weekend, and wanted to cancel the groups playing with us. I was able to reschedule the Saturday act, but not the Friday, so I need to make sure that there is a good size audience. I say F this. I'm going to single handedly fill the place if I can. Hopefully...

Yes, if only because the local show was sold out and I couldn't go. Their latest album doesn't do it for me, but extended version live stuff like this does.

It won't be, I don't find it akward at all. It's a hump you gotta get over and once you do you can go see whoever you want. Plus there's more people flying solo than you might think and some of them are quite cute.
I want to go to shows to and will probably do it alone very soon(don't know anybody who's really into noise or more experimental stuff). I went to a bar alone a couple weeks ago. Wasn't terrible, made coy jokes about organ theft with some guy. Had some delicious, delicious PBR and texted one of my underage friends so I looked slightly occupied.

I disagree. I think it's due to the low standards as to what counts as "overfishing."
