I'm not really as sick of the joyo controversy where it's turned into jokes and random non-sense and because it exposes a fraud. But the fuzzboxgirl threads, all i have to say is who cares. Yeah she does shameless self promotion but that's not really unusual or anything, so why can't we be talking about awesome gear stuff instead of feeding egos with unneeded controversy.

Now those threads are spreading like a disease to this thread, will it ever end?

i think the Joyo thread is funny as fuck...but then, i take the cynical outsider's view towards the whole pedal business and think this is the logical apotheosis of the whole bite-someone-else's-idea-and-you're-a-genius aesthetic of the industry. i haven't even looked at the FuzzBoxGirl threads...i assume that if she's any cop, she'll achieve a positive reputation and then i'll give a fuck.

I think your way of thinking on this is for the best... as has already been discovered by many of us... not giving a fuck would have been the better option :hobbes:

I've owned two and both had some pretty shitty build issues along with being ridiculously neck heavy. If you want to bend down and adjust a pedal, look out or that fucker will dive to the ground. I've seen 'em go on the bay for over $800 recently, money NOT well spent.

They look way cooler than they truly are, if that makes you feel any better? I thought it was gonna be the shit, instead just shit. Figured maybe the first was one was a fluke, second was even worse. Yamaha dropped the ball on that one.

But doesn't that make you right and him a hypocrite. He better get your ass backstage.

Right, he'll break it out for one song or so and that's it. Actually saw Josh Homme get pissed off live and break his black SA503, figured Troy's heart broke a little that night. Then I got one and realized exactly why he smashed it.

So the other guy who works nights at my gas station(I work 5 he works 2) wants to switch days because he "really can't work Fridays"(he has to go grocery shopping or some BS), but he won't let me switch having Thursday/Friday off to Saturday/Sunday. I said, "Dude, I want two days together and at least one weekend night," but then he's all, "Oh, what about Wednesday and Thursday?" To which I said, "Fuck that."(not literally, I don't think but something to that effect). I'm just afraid he's going to guilt me into it somehow and then my life will suck even more than it does now.

Oh, and I'm turning down food, caffeine and guitar, staying holed up in my room so I can avoid playing cards with my grandpa(note: This is over the course of an hour or so, it's not an Anne Frank scenario or anything).

Spent last week meeting with people discussing procedures getting everything set in stone e-mailing it to everyone and then doing all the training. Today, the day before I leave they want to revisit everything I already did. Our old system wasn't working, not sure why everyone is so in love with it. It's a business so no matter what we do there will be mistakes and odd happenings, anytime you deal with customers that is going to happen. Can't get "cross that bridge when we come to it" translated into Chinese but I think they understood piss up a rope!
