Got this Foxey Lady off him too listed as "Fendar petal" or something (it came with a 70s Fender Volume/Tone pedal and he chose to feature that instead of the nice Fuzzrite). All his auctions flew under the radar because he has no idea how to use ebay I guess.

Its a '68 Sprague module Fuzzrite for the price of an Ashbass ...

OMG, what a score. That is completely insane. Thank god for people like that seller!

Someone gave me this guitar case with a tube amp built in. Sounds pretty awesome.

That's cool. I used to have one of those Silvertones -- nice little guitars too.
(You should out out the guitar that went with it -- nice combo. Looks like yours is for the 2-pickup guitar)
That amp's a death trap BTW, get it seen to properly or run it off an ISO transformer or you're going to get toasted. I got a nasty belt off mine -- only thing between you and the mains grid is a 40+ year old capacitor.

I'd say so. Like the one that had mountainking, spelled wrong.

Nice score! What kind of transistors are in it (if you know yet)?

Yeah it came with a guitar but it wasn't the original Silvertone. Its was a cheapy toy guitar. Thanks for the heads up about the transformer. I don't really use it much but when I do I don't wanna die yo.

No idea. No gutshots and it's stuck south of the border til the posties figure things out.
Every triangle I've ever had had the FS36999/2n5133s though. Although I've seen a few other trannies in pics. It'll be interesting. I'm more interested in the cap values though. That's what really makes a triangle.

Here's my old 67 SFTs Vox Tone Bender. Don't have the black one any more I'm afraid but the hammerite's going nowhere.

I was gonna say, I thought that looked like pretty neat wiring, with nothing too close or tangled together.

I'll give you that, but wiring didn't make prices inflate back then. Those are fairly clean builds though.

This is what I gots(not mine specifically in the pic):
Image

Not sure what year mine is, but I think Tokai stopped making effects in '85-'86ish so its probably from the early-mid 80's. Bit banged up, but it still works. The footswitch is a little sticky and the LED is a little off kilter, I could probably just open it up and put it through to hole. Has initials KAB scratched into the side and KAB were not the initials of the person SWIM bought/traded for a bag of weed from didn't have those initials.

All in all, a nice, versatile flanger.
