On a personal level, Freaking Out is a process whereby an individual casts off outmoded and restricting standards of thinking, dress, and social etiquette in order to express creatively his relationship to his immediate environment and the social structure as a whole.

these are a few of my favorite things.....

Custom Headstrong Prima 30 (6L6's - vol-bass-treble-trem rate-trem depth...voiced extra dark for me)
62 Fender Bassman
65 Selmer Bass and Treble 50 (w/ old marshall JTM 45 transformer)
91 Super Lead 100 (and Power Brake, as that fukking thing is too loud even with half the tubes pulled out)
late 70's JCM 800 (6550's)

Jebus, Elwd - you ever plug into all of those at once?

i really liked my orange Crush 30R.... but it ate my fuzzes alive. But the amp by itself was pretty sexy looks and sound wise. Just didn't do my fuzz justice.... probably has to do with there preference of high mid range. :idk:

Orange is badass but the best are the tube amps. I played through a friends Crush like a year ago and I liked it as a solid state. Which doesnt really say much.

Before Orange I played. Vox and Fender tube amps oh and the little Gretscch tubes sometimes. Now its only Orange, and the occasional Vox for when I want to play jangley stuff. In the 3 years I used Marshall, Vox, Fender, Musicman, Carvin etc...I always had to fight to get that tone in my head. Within one month of buying my lil orange amp, I have all those tones except for just a few (which are wanted dead or alive...). And I can dial them in with in 5 minutes. My Ac30 did get me some great tones but it took forever. And I love fiddling with stuff. But I mean FOREVER....I would literally spend all day making pedals, working on the amp, changing guitars, and then Id have sex for an hour or two just to try and clear my mind. My girlfriend thought I was going crazy. She just kept saying "WTF is this "tone" your looking for?!?!?" and id say "You know that orgasm feeling" "yeah" "well thats it but in sound" (and get back to work)

Oh yeah and I went on a crazy pick hunting journey....picks make a huge difference..HUGE>>>

Ah, didn't realize you had a tube amp there....idk why I just assumed it was a crush. I assume the tube amps are a bit more flexible with what sounds you can get. But I just couldn't get enough treble out of the crush.

Hopefully I can get pics of my newly acquired Peavey Classic 50 410. It's sitting at home waiting for me to come home from college to plug it in for my concert on Friday. :omg: Can't wait! :yay:
