Riffs for gated, splatty fuzz?

Post by Wes Mantooth »

I'm doing a review of a gated, almost bit crushing fuzz for EffectsWire, but I don't really know the best way to show it off.

Any suggestions for songs with this fuzz tone in them, or that would show it off well?

The synth-line to Cherry Lips by Garbage. The song itself isn't splatty, but I've found playing that riff through 8-bit splatty fuzzes is quite pleasant.
