so the LSTR..

How is it? Am thinking of picking one up after enjoying the Pharoah so damn much. Is it different enough from the Pharoah to justify spending another $150? :idk:

I received one last week, it's awesome. Definitely different than a Pharaoh, not much overlap at all between 'em. Also voiced very differently, both sound enormous but the LSTR isn't near as "dark". It will nail all the traditional scooped muff tones, but with the extra fatness inherent with the Pharaoh. Also packs more gain than a Pharaoh for sure.

The tone and scoop knobs change things drastically and are a bit more intuitive than the Pharaoh's, super easy to dial in.They're really interactive and completely alter the character, from thick and scooped to bright and nasty and everywhere in between. You can also dial in some really thick, present distortion tones, hard to tell it's a fuzz at some settings but totally obvious at others. Runs super quiet and stacks well, sounds great into a Pharaoh. Overall, an excellent compliment to the Pharaoh.

I saw this picture of Hendrix, all he used was a wah.... And not even the Jim Dunlop Jimi Hedrix wah, just some old thing.....
Jimi didn't realise the horrible tone suck we had to listen to every time he used that wah.
