thanks, dood. never checked out a Diabolical, but it's funny - I'm never selling the Electric or my '66 Vibrolux. you don't normally think Electric and Fender in the same breath!

thinking my next amp will be a 120 watt MV Electric, actually.
Maybe partying will help.

I saw this picture of Hendrix, all he used was a wah.... And not even the Jim Dunlop Jimi Hedrix wah, just some old thing.....
Jimi didn't realise the horrible tone suck we had to listen to every time he used that wah.

actually, the thing I'm missing most in my amp quiver is an amp with decent MV - more V4s will be no help there.
knowing how insane I am, I'm guessing I'll buy a backup V4 soon, and order an Electric half-stack next year when my bonus rolls through.
don't know who I'm kidding with either/or - I won't be happy 'til I have BOTH.
Maybe partying will help.

I use the MVU for guitar and the NMVU for bass. The NMVU is just too ridiculously loud for guitar. ;)

I sold that Matamp recently.

DAMN those Electrics are badass. I've wanted a KT88 NMV for years...
Image
Here is most of the gtr rig and thensome...shot is from a recording session sometime last year. I must've been trying to move the foundation--the V6 2x15 laying down on the right is devastating with a lowtuned gtr. The other cabs are V4 4x12s and B40 4x10s...usually I'll use my V2 or Sunn Beta Lead (neither pictured here) in combination with a V4 for a live biamp rig and not multiple V4s.
WIth us lugging V4 rigs for 2nd gtr and keys as well, I can't get more than one fullstack in my car anyway.
Special low-frequency version.
