Been working on learning this song "Glass Faces" by Corelia tonight and I've barely made any progress because there's this one part just a few bars in where if I play it at full speed I add an extra note in and fuck up the timing.

Try to get all the shops and pawn shops. That is your best bet from my experience. Once I went into a music store to buy strings and suddenly went: hey - I recognize that bass you're setting up right now. Where'd you get that from? Turned out our practice room (which was in an old train carriage) got broken into. The bloke from the music store had this policy of making a copy of people's ID when they sell something. So everything was peachy and the burglars went to court.

In retrospect it was cool though. It all did turn out well, so it was alright. But boy I was tense when the dude from the music shop drove me to our room that day.

I ordered a One Spot from musicians friend. It was back ordered so I had to wait for weeks for them to send it. It never arrived and I got an email yesterday that it was sent back to musicians friend.

sometimes i wonder why i work in the music biz
having run ins with people with the most crusty stupid ass 1959 attitude of where its like you have to kiss my ass to get somewhere really does bum me out
and i try my best to put on a happy face and work as much as i can with them without exploding at them is really coming to an end

i dont know if i could do this anymore
its just really bogus i dont know maybe some day i can weed them all out
