Harmony H802
Got it off evil-bay for $115. Sounds pretty killer for how much I payed. Needs a bit of set up, but so far it's great :!!!:

The tone knob does nothing, but I never use it anyway. The neck pickup switch only works sometimes, probably just a loose wire. When I roll back the volume with a fuzz on I get a pretty sick sound for slide guitar. I'd post a video, but I have no way of doing so :(

Some of these old guitars have a switch that overrides the tone pot and stick in a fixed value cap. Have you tried it with all the switches flicked both ways? I have an old beater that has just that and it's my most bass-heavy doom instrument despite having single coils. These old geets are lovely! You never know what you get.

Yeah, You might want to fix the tone pot just to get all out of the pups. It's also good for controlling the possible feedback on the fly - if You're into that. And those old pups look like they'll scream :animal: have they turned microphonic yet?

Sweet! :joy: The amount of those sorts of guitars I've nearly bought on ebay and then realised I'm too poor, I really want one.

Yeah they feedback really well but their not microphonic yet, I've never thought of using the tone control for feedback
Nah the switches are just on/off switches for the pickups

is the neck a single piece of wood? it looks from the photo like it might be a Framus-style sandwich.

I don't know wtf the neck is, I'm not home now, I'll post a picture of it when I'm there.

Soloing the bridge pickup with my small and typically shitty 15w ibanez amp produces a pretty sick tone for garage rock. Really dirty and trashy. Almost Mudhoney-esque.
