I've had the Shiva and still have the AB-Synth. The AB-Synth has much more variation to its oscillation voice than the Shiva, but it could be that I didn't know what I was doing when I had the Shiva. I'm not really tempted to try any other oscillating fuzz now. I've also tried the Velcrosillator, and wasn't particularly impressed. So yeah, my vote does for AB-Synth!

Fuzzhugger FX - AB-Synth (5k with voice toggle or regular one)
Dwarfcraft Devices - Shiva
Take Flight Pedals - The Goose
And maybe the OohLaLa Thorn's Speaker (with the oscilation feature), but I don't tink I'll found one.

If you can trade your Buzz Bomb for a Goose, I'd say do it. The Goose actually has a number of different oscillation modes and it should be possible for you to dial in whatever you're looking for.

Outside of the Goose, I'd recommend a Disaster Fuzz (I prefer my Dream Mangler to the TBD, but I'm a sucker for controlling the oscillation with the joystick). If I were going to try out another oscillating fuzz, it'd probably be the smallsound/bigsound Year 4545 - been wanting to try one of Brian's pedals forever, and that one seems INSANE.

Shit yeah, surprised this one hasn't been mentioned yet. If the TAFM and Fuck OD are any indication, the Year 4545 should be incredible! Since getting an AB-synth 5K, the 4545 is the only other oscillating fuzz to really grab my attention.

The Goose looks very cool though, hadn't heard about it until today. Seems like a pretty solid trade.

Yeah, I've only played the V1 4545, but it was fucking cool. No idea how different the new one is.

Same...
it's not exactly what I'd call synthy.

The Ab-Synth has those lightsaber noises on lock.

It's not really a trade, I'm loosing a lot there... I would be able to sell it to a store (I'm loosing almost 50% of it's cost) and get a new Goose.
They don't have Fuzzhugger, Dwarfcraft or SS/BS.

Year4545 is on my list too, but cannot purchase anything (except the Dr. Scientist The Elements) until the Buzz Bomb is sold.

The Buzz Bomb is cool, but not using it anymore since I got the Four Eyes.

Any suggestion? I might be able to trade one of my pedal for the Take Flight Pedals The Goose. But I wonder what is the best oscillating fuzz for me.
I have the Fairfield Circuitry Four Eyes and the Plum Crazy FX Fuzzy Lady... So looking for something different from them.

My all time favorite is the lastgasp art laboratories Hachihachi shiki kebadate hizumaseki SUPER OSCILLO FUZZ (88), not only for it's oscillation but it through a filter is my goto for synth sounds.

I'm sure it's very good (and I like filter stuff a lot)... but it is 320$.

Here we only have Moog Audio seeling those (I notice Moog often increase the price of some pedals).
With all our taxes here, it would cost me around 365$.
I know it's a great pedal (but I can't spend that much money).

I still have some times to tink about it... need to sell the Buzz Bomb first.
Thanks for all you recommendations. :thumb:

Yeah, analoguehaven.com had 'em for 240 for awhile and I asked them if they were stocked and he told me they were about to up the price since they are losing scrilla on it. Shit rules...want so hard, but probably never. can't see myself paying that much.
