Definitely the Megalith. The Supercollider is pretty awesome too.

I have been thinking of getting a Musket, or the Blundermuss version. Or is the blunderbuss a limited run?

Not to veer too far off topic but:
I like what I've heard of the Meathead (never owned one) but feel I can get pretty close to the same sound with the Megalith.
The Megalith seams to be a lot more tweakable though.
New they are priced about the same but used the Megalith is a bit less.
Has anyone tried both? I would like to hear how they compared.

I bet! I think any fuzz would turn into an absolute monster when slammed with a Second Voice. I couldn't believe the first time I kicked that thing on, didn't realize just how much output the Second Voice was packin'.

I keep meaning to chime in with a 'meathead' too, clone or D*A*M. Even my 'dark' isn't scooped, it's got huge fuzz and bottom end, but it cut through a concert mix with a Mesa Boogie bass stack next to it. I might mail it to my friend for recording their side of an album this month, it sounded so good with the setup they're using for 2nd guitar now.

I also like the Thundercloud for a 'more mids' muff of doom, tho it will do more than that.

So far, I'd exclude Cherry Pop and Pharoah... But I need more time to futz with both.

The Meathead has a raw but very articulated sound, with a great dynamic. The Megalith, despite all the knobs, sounds to me like a one-trick pony: a massive sludgey (wall of) fuzz, plenty of low end. The Meathead is a one-knob but all porpouse pedals, the Megalith is simpli a brick slammed into your face.
You're not a musician, you're a low frequencies generator!

Holy Schnikes wrote:The LSTR is pretty cool too (just received it so still very new to me), although it will cop the more traditional muff sound which you may not like?? The scoop knob helps to dial it more wide open, Pharaoh(ish) tones to be had without the overall darkness, worth a look maybe. Also packs more gain than the Pharaoh for really bringing the heavies! So far, so good!

pics or it didn't happen :p

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and suggest something nobody has mentioned - the fuzz side of a Fulltone Ultimate Octave... can get a pretty gnarly Queens tone out of it, which isn't surprising since Josh Homme uses on I think
too legit to quit
