The Manx Loaghtan cuts extremely well and can get pretty sludgy :idk:

For me the bass gets a little boomy as you dial in more rather than thickening up the low end, it's worth a look though

Verellen Big Spider in the second mode. It's not ultra-tweakable but sounds great. I prefer it on bass though.
because bass is cooler

The TAFM's heavy as a bag of donkey shit. See if Bri can throw a mid control on one and it'd be the biz.

The Musket had a Mids knob, and the focus knob can make it slice through the mix. But it's still a Muff at it's core, so it can do doomy.

Yea, I think I'm not the biggest muff fan. I LOVED the Pharaoh, but at the end of the day it was a little dark for my needs. :(

I vote for the wolf computer :idk:
with the gain maxed it's pretty thick and can sustain for a long time if you back the bias off, and the texture of the dronez can be changed by adjusting the sag knob. It can be a bit muffy, but not overly so (I've always kept it on the board with a big muff of some kind and not noticed any overlap). Plus it lives in the mid-range. If you're not getting enough sustain out of it you can run a boost into it and it'll sustain forever.

The TAFM is pretty spectacular, huge sounding and really tweakable. I don't think it would have any trouble bringing the doomz whilst cutting, I love that pedal!

The LSTR is pretty cool too (just received it so still very new to me), although it will cop the more traditional muff sound which you may not like?? The scoop knob helps to dial it more wide open, Pharaoh(ish) tones to be had without the overall darkness, worth a look maybe. Also packs more gain than the Pharaoh for really bringing the heavies! So far, so good!

Great midrangey sludge tone with the Megalith on the third position. Anyways, I'd suggest an old '80s Rat.

A mids knob would be cool. The switch only seems to do something when using a bass for me. TAFM is heavy fo sho, blend can make it super cutting.
